The Decor Girl's Green Roof on Blue

Adding a green roof is just one way you can both beautify your home and help the environment while you're doing it. ...
While Lisa M. Smith's (http://www.decorgirl.net) favorite color is blue, she dropped by our blog to discuss instead green. Her green roof ... and technically the color has nothing to do with it. Green roofs, or live roofs, are generally installed on a "flat" or low pitch and always over a rubber membrane.
Lisa says, "They have the same effect as installing wallpaper...." Among the benefits are potential lower energy bills as well as better management of runoff and ground water.
To see more on why and how she installed her green roof as well as how she maintains it...follow the link below. Thanks. Happy Weekend. ~jb

Very cool, JB! I was actually thinking about the weight issue when I saw the photo. Where I live we've had roof damage issues from too much snow; the snow needs to be cleaned off a bit.
