A DIY Plank Christmas Tree

We created a plank wall in our den using fence planks that were on sale - and we had a lot of scrap pieces left over. Determined to use them up ( and not put them in the land fill ) we created a plank Christmas tree out of them. We're still living in renovation mode so there was no place to put a real one this year - this has to do! These planks have also been used to create built in's and picture frame backings . I should do a post on 101 things to use fence planks for ( excluding building a fence LOL ). The Santa and reindeer are from Pic Monkey. People have asked me where I bought them, but they're just photoshopped xoxoxoxo More on the blog. Have a great day !
I spray painted screws red - to mimic berries - and to allow something for the ornaments to hang from
Purchased at Michaels - they're miniature and just perfect for this project!
I may drill some holes in it to thread lights through, if I can find just one more ounce of energy before Christmas Eve LOL - but for now, it'll do.
