Vintage Armchair Update
I took an online upholstery course (it was awesome...ModHomeEc...check it out), and I needed an open armed arm chair to revamp. Ta-da! Suitably ugly but good bones.
I picked out some (fabulous) fabric from spoonflower.com. I thought it was a great, bold statement print that coul totally change the look of the chair. I think it worked.
I bought the same print in blues so this chair will have a buddy. It's available in my etsy shop if you love it as much as I do!
One caveat: I bought the linen weight fabric and it was TRICKY to get smoothed out around the curves. White probably wasn't the easiest color, either. However, as long as you're ok making a mistake or two: have at it!
