A plain terracotta pot is transformed into this shabby chic flower pot with a little mod podge and paint!
I mixed some aqua colour paint with some plaster of Paris to make my own chalk paint. I whitewashed it a little afterwards. I think the color it turned out is just beautiful. I’m glad I experimented and didn’t do my typical white paint thing.
I then chose that gorgeous french frame ornament from the graphics fairy site and used it as a label. I added the french wording from another graphic. I adore this frame. When I saw it, I immediately knew I had to use it one day. It’s very romantic and that’s exactly the look I wanted this flower pot to have.
