From Boring to BEAUTIFUL !
I bought several $5 headboards from a hotel furniture resale shop, so I thought about doing some up-cycling. I had some left over wood and some boards I bought at Restore.
My husband ripped the boards 1 1/4 inches wide. I decided on a chevron pattern so we cut the boards accordingly, I then used the pieces that were stained ( from Restore ) as my accent pcs. When I had my design down, I glued and used brad nails to secure the strips.
I left out the dark pieces and painted the rest, then I attached the darker strips.
Finished !
