shingles {roof} warranty~what should I do on blistered 2 yrs old roof?

Yesterday the roof guy came to check on my sun room roof for estimate and told me not good news which I was sooooo sick. I had my brand new shingles 2 years ago on November by roof guy to install on my house. It is 25 years warranty. The shingles were blisters already for 2 years old! What would u I do with the warranty in ur situation like this?

I forgot to ask him to take pixies for me. But I will have another roof to come over to check this coming Friday.

The first offered TPO roofing for my sun room roof. I never heard of that and researched online to learn more good info. The plm is that it has to be walked on my caved sun room roof. I am sure they will know what to do not to walk but use stafford {spelling?} ladders over my sun room roof to work on????? Anyone has TPO roofing @Metro Atlanta areas? Need ur feedbackl on TPO roofing before I decide to have it on my sunroom roof. TY.

First off you need to get the person that did the roof to change it out. If you know who did the job. Also the warranty is only for the shingles and is pro-rated. However if it has blistered you may be able to get the company to cover the whole thing. The biggest concern I would have is why? Blistering in normally found on older roofs, not something that is that young. Or roofs that have been subjected to extreme temps. What is the shingles fastened over? Metal, wood? Have they told you why it blistered? Until you find out why this occurred to the shingles, I would take my time before I simply just replace it and particularly so with a new type of thermoplastic roofing membrane. Have you had the manufactures rep come out and assess the condition? I would also steer clear of the TPO roof. While it is a pretty good material, the issue is it is a fairly new product and not that many contractors are working with it yet. This draw back is that it will be difficult to find qualified contractors to compare prices on and if they go out of business, who will be fixing it.

Contact the installer of your sun room, assuming it was purchased as a package deal from 1 contractor. The guarantee period can vary by area, alot of contractors only offer 1 or 2 years (FWIW I offer 10 years on shingle roofs). That 25 year warranty may be useless, because all the BLISTERED shingle roofs I have seen have all be installation error caused by installing a shingle on a wet roof. The water super heats and that causes bubbles. Look into TPO it has a mixed track record. Some people will argue that TPO is terrible. It does have some failures. I do offer TPO if my customer is looking for a 10 or 15 year roof. What is the slope of this roof? Why was there shingles before (steel slope material) and now the other contractor offering TPO (low slope material)? Note: TPO may be installed on steep slope applications too, it's just not at all common to do so. If this is low slope and you want the very very best, I recommend a good quality PVC. If it's shingles, A good quality shingle is important, but more important than the material is the roofer. You can take the best product and install it wrong, and it will be worthless. hello. not fortunately, that roof company is not good term w/ us. He came back to correct the too short by gutter that cud see thru my attic and he was not not happy and used the shingles in the dumpster. do not want him to come back to mess up my house again.

i did check on bbb and there was none. but after i filed complained on bbb and there was 3 complaints against this roof co. i did check and it was closed case due not reply from that roof co. also, he refused to pay my sun room damage that he and his crew walked on my sun room roof to cause it caving abt one to two feet cuz my hubby did tell him that it was ok to walk. it looks like i am stuck with it all.
