Callicarpa bodinieri 'Profusion' commonly called 'Profusion' Beautyberry

Simply Gardening
by Simply Gardening
This deciduous shrub delivers a real punch this time of year. The purple
berries hang on even after the leaves drop and that makes for some
impactful interest. The leaves do have some nice fall color, but the
real show is the clusters of purple berries. The plant can get gangly,
so keep it to your desired shape.
It likes to be watered, so in
the driest months, you may want to water each week. Hardy to USDA zones
5-8, this plant works in many different locations across the country.
