Transform a Dresser to a Desk!

This dresser was on its way to the dump but I saw some potential in it. With a few power tools and some demolition, this dresser found a new life as a desk. See how I did it here: http://www.thriftyandchic.com/2011/04/dresser-to-deskreally.html

Boy did i need to have seen this a month ago. I torn down my old white rattan 6drawer dresser. and all i kept was the top veneer piece of wood, its a table now....and i kept a couple drawers thinking they would look cute in closets for storage...took up too much room, but i pulled off the Rattan looking front off of the drawers before dumping them. dont know where i will use them yet, but i will. good job and i will keep that in mind. i love having a desk and dont now.
