Make Your Own Faux White Porcelain Giant Clam Bowl

There's a sneaky way to make a giant clam bowl that rivals the expensive porcelain ones from home decor emporiums. Want to see how I hacked it?
Here was my inspiration, a $60 porcelain clam from Z Gallerie:
And here's my beautiful clam, which cost around two bucks:
The trick: I found a plastic giant clam at Goodwill for a dollar!
I spray painted it white, using three very light coats.
I love the look! And can't beat that price.

    What type of white paint did you use?

      Hi, Angel! Any semigloss spray paint will work. Or you can paint on acrylic craft paint with a brush, but not as smooth a result. Have fun!
