DIY Thanksgiving Sign

We had some reclaimed wood from some old stair treads and I needed more Thanksgiving decor, so I created this cute, rustic sign to add a little festive flair to our home.
I painted the old boards in white and braced them together to make the sign. I enlarged and printed out the saying on regular printer paper and then traced the outline in pencil.
Filling in the pencil outline with acrylic craft paint was easy with a small brush.

Lovely, simple and just right for the holiday- I don't know if I have a steady-enough hand to stay between the lines, tho. Great idea.
