So we just moved it to the new house. Yay. We still have lots of work to do but every day we add something new to make it feel nice and cozy. We are working on the budget so we have to be creative:) this is how we changed a boring, white wall behind the TV in our living room :)
Before. Bad picture but we forgot to take one of the full wall. Just imagine white wall ;)
I outlined the design of a tree and started painting
My husband " helping" :)
My dog also " helping". :) you can see my bath robe because I was working late at night :)
Getting there :)
Almost done:)
Done! :) we installed 5 light holders to add some romantic effect. We found those tea light holders for 50 cents at the thrift store. They were light brown so they were perfect for the tree:)

I used a similar tree stencil which was thicker than the normal stencil. I took joint compound to fill in the stencil area. I waited for the compound to dry overnight and painted it the next day. The tree relief was fantastic.
