Real Leaf Table Runner

I love using free (or practically free!) materials I scrounge from around the house and yard to decorate. One of my favorite examples is how I make a striking natural table runner out of real leaves.
It looks so lush and fabulous on a party table! I made this one for my friend's daughter's Jungle Jam birthday party.
All you need for this project are leaves from the yard, a roll of paper towels, and a (low temp) hot glue gun.
Roll out paper towels to the length you want your table runner to be, and start gluing. It's that easy!
Doesn't it look cool?
I even used this same basic technique to make my daughter's flower fairy costume for Halloween. She looked (and smelled) amazing in those lemon tree leaves. ;-)
