Removing thick wallpaper seam adhesive

I'm trying to remove the massive amount of wallpaper seam adhesive I put on the walls. I have tried steam, a heat gun, Goo Off, vinegar and warm water. Any other ideas?

@Debra Yes. Also Goo off. steamer, heat gun. I will sand it and see how that works. Texture paint may be what I have to do. Thank you

Go to your local Hardware store that has rental items and rent a wallpaper steamer remover. It will save so much time and frustration

I haven't had wallpaper for at least 30 years but I've heard diluted liquid fabric softener spayed on the paper works.

Joan, I know it’s been awhile but did you ever get a good solution for the wallpaper seam glue? I’m in the same boat right now. Thanks!
