Lovely for a beach themed bedroom ... see how easy this was to make
My new Beach themed Headboard
This is the completed finish ..
We bought one of these garden reeds at a roadside vendor close to our home - these are made on site by people doing their best to generate some kind of income and we always try to support them.
The garden reed is the top horizontal piece, to which we added simple wooden legs {made from scrap wood} - I started to paint before I remembered to take a photo .. {also it was raining on and off, so we did not have a lot of time to get this done}
A Closer look at the legs - see, nothing fancy - this is at the back against the wall, therefore no fanciness needed
We used Rust-O-Leum {for metal, wood & plastic} in White, to spray paint the headboard, followed by a Clear Sealant also by Rust-O-Leum. The little rustic wreath was bought a while ago and I added that to the center of the headboard.
And here is our beach-themed bedroom just about done {only the floors to go} We also made the bookshelf and the lampshades ourselves.
