Repurposing an Antique Pump Organ Hutch

My husband and I repurposed an antique pump organ hutch/top into a shelf/coat rack for our entryway. See my blog post for additional pictures and information.
In its original rorm
My husband took the shelves and brackets, recut and repositioned them and added coat hooks. We sanded and restained the entire piece.
It works great in our entryway and the wood perfectly matches our staircase and bench.
The added coat hooks made it useful in our entry hall.
