Thanksgiving Tree

We experienced Hurricane Sandy with little to no damage and are so very grateful, yet so many others are suffering terribly. To help our family develop an Attitude of Gratitude we decided to make a Thanksgiving Tree. This is a simple and meaningful craft. Click the link for full details, pictures, and instructions.

I can see this as something to save n reuse many years. It might be fun to look through the leaves years down the road to remember what we were thankful for throughout a decade or two. If the leaves are dated each year, it would even be an heirloom of sorts!

I really love this idea. I plan to try it with my family this year! I hope it will be something my daughter will save and continue to use with my grandsons after my mom and I are gone. The previous commentor's idea of dating the leaves is great! Thank you for such a sweet and sentimental project idea.
