Snowdrop - January's Winter Flower Centerpiece DIY

Easy
What do you do with leftover white and green foam paper scraps? Well, you make something cute like little snowdrop flowers - and while you're at it, paint an unfinished crate, add a decorative trim and voila, you have created an adorable winter centerpiece.
Cut out teardrop shaped petals from scraps of foam paper. Wrap pieces of cotton balls around wire stems to make buds.
Use the blade of scissors to curve the petals and dot buds with green paint to mimic inner flower segments. Glue three petals to each bud.
Wrap stems with crepe paper starting at the base of petals and bend the stem and flower facing down.
Add green petals to the stems, then
Paint an unfinished crate, transfer an image to wood . . .
And put them all together for a lovely winter centerpiece!
