Repurposed Old Knife Block

Please visit my blog post for the complete tutorial. Thank you! http://www.refreshliving.us/2015/01/knife-block-to-thread-organizer.html
I see knife blocks at thrift stores all the time, usually for $1 or $2. You can read all about how I created my new thread holder on my blog. http://www.refreshliving.us/2015/01/knife-block-to-thread-organizer.html
I know, I can easily buy a thread holder for semi-cheap, but I'm all about using things I already have to keep our home functional and organized. Plus, this one is much sturdier than the plastic varieties I see at the store anyway!

Do you have an idea for adapting a knife block for the tools that are used for the Cricuit machines?

would like to get more details on how to do this but his site is just "http". No "s" on the end which my understanding could be a scam site.
