Replacing Copper Pipes & Fittings with the Best Plumbing Supply Ever

1 Hour
Medium

How do you replace old corroded copper pipes and fittings if you only know the basics of plumbing? And can you do this without spending a ton of time and money?
I was asking myself these questions when I noticed a leaking shutoff valve in our basement ceiling. Fortunately for us homeowners we live in a time when you can do simple plumbing projects without having to solder copper pipes together.
My neighbor recently paid his plumber $160 to replace a 6 inch section of copper pipe and a faulty shutoff valve in the ceiling. When I asked how the plumber made the fix my buddy said the plumber (who I recommended to him) used the SharkBite fittings anyone can buy at the local hardware store.
For hard projects like replacing a hot water heater or dishwasher I totally recommend calling the plumber. For an easy fix like my neighbor's I recommend using SharkBites. I decided to share how to do this exact project and you can check it out by clicking on this link http://www.homerepairtutor.com/using-push-fit-plumbing-pipe-connectors/
You'll discover that SharkBites make plumbing fixes easy and quick- this one took less than 10 minutes. At the very least you should watch the video I put together because I show you step by step what to do.
