How to Get a Sparkling Clean Sink Every Time

There's no need to scrub away at your dirty sink with corrosive cleaners. My surefire way will give you a sparkling clean sink every time.
From dull and dirty to sparkling clean without a lot of elbow grease. This method is recommended for stainless steel sinks, but I'm sure it would work fine on porcelain.
By the time the weekend is over, my sink is in need of a good cleaning. But I don't like to use heavy cleaners if I don't have to. Grease, cup rings and gunk make this sink dull and dirty.
It's simply a matter of filling your sink with hot water, adding 1 cup of household bleach and stepping away for 20 minutes to let the bleach do it's magic. I use this time to take a scrubbing pad to the rim and taps to remove any build-up.
After you've enjoyed your cup of coffee, drain the sink and wipe it down with a paper towel. Sparkling, clean and disinfected without a lot of handwork or abrasives. What could be easier?

Just tried this. Used the hottest water. Ours is pretty hot, almost too hot for me and I can stand pretty hot water. Added the recommended amount of bleach, filled the sink to the top and waited 20 minutes. I can honestly say I saw no difference between the "before" and the "after" of the process. Possibly because our sink is kept nearly surgically clean almost all the time and also because it gets a serious cleaning every Friday. I will say, though, it was no trouble to do. Just didn't see any difference.

@Heather (New House New Home) You're probably right, Heather. As I mentioned, I keep our sink very, very clean...all the time. I grew up in a medical household so I guess some things stuck. I'm also a bit of a clean nut. Not obsessive, thank goodness. I raised 8 children (most of them boys) so I had to put up with some amount of regular crud.
