DIY Ladder Shelf From Old Drawers

Do you ever hang on to things knowing you will eventually use them, but it sometimes takes a LONG time for eventually to get there? Well, I finally reached that point and dug these old crib dresser drawers out of the closet. I decided to turn them into a Ladder Shelf for organizing crafts, paints, etc.
I started with 3 drawers, some 1x2's, a drill and wood screws. I used a miter box and saw to shorten the drawers so they would be staggered like a traditional ladder shelf.
Then I used the 1x2's on each side, screwed them in to make a brace and legs.

I spray painted it and added some gorgeous minty green glass knobs I found at Home Goods and Voila!, pretty storage that cost me very little!

Do you have any old drawers lying around that could be working for you instead of taking up space?!
