DIY Valentine Banner

I am not one to usually put out lots of Valentine decor but I do find it fun to add some simple touches. I decided to do a small vignette with a wooden banner that I made very easily.
I picked up the wood letters from Walmart. The day I was there they only had Q's no O's. No problem, I bought them anyway. I just used my jigsaw and cut off the little tails on the letter Q to make them O's. Then I used a jar of pink paint that I already had around the house. Once the paint dried I distressed the letters and covered in a dark wax.
If you would love to see all of the table decor just click the link to my blog located after all the photos. You can see the printable I made and framed. Don't forget to add a bowl of chocolates!

I chose pink paint but white or read will be great!
I decided on the XOXO aka hugs and kisses!
This DIY Valentine banner would look great hanging on the mantel as well.
