Magnetic Blackboard Chart

I have a very easy craft to share with you.
It is a simple tutorial for making a Magnetic Blackboard Chart that can be used for several different things eg.
Chores Chart
Reading Practice Chart
Homework Chart
Attendance Chart for Sunday School
and it was the last item I needed to make.
So I started with an old baking tray or cookie sheet that was rather the worse for wear and would have been thrown out otherwise.
Holes were drilled - Thank you to my husband.
This would be to put string through for hanging later.
I painted it with blackboard paint.
Drew a line on it and some headings with liquid chalk and added the string to be able to hang it up
Made labels for the kids names with my labelling machine and strips of sticky back magnet.
The I used small round sticky back magnets to represent each time the child attended Sunday School.
If you want further details of the materials I used and more steps in the process please head over to my blog for the full tutorial.

I had turned a couple of old cookie sheets into chalkboards for my grandkids but it didn't even dawn on me that they could also be used for magnets too. One more thing they can do with them. I will add that I've learned from experience that the brush on chalkboard paint works much better than the spray kind.
