DIY Valentine Treat Bags

Pinterest has done it again! I can't say enough about where I be if it wasn't for that site. I've seen a couple of different valentine bags and decided to try my own. I started with a huge piece of white burlap. With no measuring guidelines, started to cut and make a sack. I hot glue sides and end. Then placed a piece of card board inside to keep the paint from seeping throughout. I took a cookie cutter and laid it in the middle of my sack. I painted the inside to make a complete heart. Let dry then fill with your favorite candies. Tie with baking ribbon or your choice of ribbon.

Stacy Davis on Dec 25, 2016This is great! I would have never thought to use a cookie cutter as a stencil. Very smart! It looks just like the ones that went viral on Pinterest, too. Well done.
