I use an old glass cleaner spray bottle.....put about 1/3 cup vinegar and fill the rest of the way to the top of the spray bottle with water. Shake and you are good to go. I use this on my laminate floors

I have an old recipe that calls for 1/2 cup vinegar to 2 cups water. I also add 2-3 drops Dawn dish soap for streak-free window and glass cleaner!

I usually use three parts water to one part white vinegar.

4 parts water to one part vinegar. If using on solid wood, I'd dilute it a little more...or test an inconspicuous area first. Good luck!!

I haven't bought a cleaning product for years. For a glass/multi purpose cleaner...

    1/2 c alcohol

    1/2 c white vinegar

    2 T corn starch

    4 c water

Mix everything together and pour it into a clean spray bottle. Use like you would any regular glass cleaner.

The alcohol in the cleaner helps it evaporate quickly giving you that streak-free shine.

Miracle Cleaner - this works great for tile, tub & shower, toilet. I've even cleaned the oven with it!

    Into a spray bottle mix:

    2 oz. Dawn Dishwashing liquid

    4 oz. Lemon Juice

    8 oz. White Vinegar

    10 oz. Water

1 part vinegar, 3-4 parts water. Just want to get the floor moistened and not wet, it will warp the wood if it stays wet for too long.

The most common vinegar cleaning solution contains 1/4 cup of vinegar mixed with one cup of warm water. Warm water helps to dissolve grease and hard water spots more quickly.

About 4 parts water to 1 part vinegar.

I never use Vinegar only drop of W/up soap in water.

  • To clean wood floors, you’re better off with a store bought formula as vinegar will etch and damage the finish. Pour it into a spray bottle and use a microfiber mop.

I use about a 1:4 or 1:5 ratio of vinegar to water. It works well and I always dry right away rather than letting the solution sit on the floor air drying so the vinegar doesn't damage the floors (if they are wood).
