DIY Vintage Inspired Valentine Boxes!
Greetings Friends! The last time I was in Target, I came across these ready made Valentine mailboxes and was instantly taken back to thoughts of my school days and construction paper hearts. Did you make these in school? I always looked forward to decorating mine and the great thing about these is that the mail slot is already cut--I never could seem to get mine quite right!
Armed with glittery Christmas clearance wrapping paper, sheet music and modge podge I got started. I turned the box on each side as a pattern to cut the paper and used a sponge brush to modge podge it to the box.
Paper doilies always remind me of Valentine's Day. I picked up these doily placemats from the weekly .25 sale I attend. Continue on to my blog and don't miss a thing!
