From Bed to Bench
Head board and foot board from twin size bed. I picked both of them up a garage sales. They are not matching but they worked nice together. Seat is reclaimed lumber.
I painted with latex satin not chalk paint and it distressed nicely.
Distressing looks more like worn areas from sittin. Sprayed it all over with Polyurethane for protection. I wouldn't recommend letting it weather outside though.
