A backsplash is a relatively quick and easy way to overhaul the look of a kitchen without the headaches of redesigning the entire space. When Peg got a new countertop in her kitchen, she decided a new backsplash be the perfect complement.

Previously, the kitchen featured a red painted backsplash, but Peg wanted a more completed a look to the kitchen.
Peg says that it is important to do plenty of research to pick the correct color, shape, and pattern of tile for your project before making your purchase. Peg wanted a tile that would match the new countertop in the kitchen.
Peg chose to go with Storka Urban Hues 3 x 6 glass subway tile in color Mocha. The classic subway tile look really upgrades the space.
Peg hired a contractor to install the backsplash. She says it took about two days for installation, and total cost was around $450 dollars.
The clean look of the new subway tile backsplash is a major upgrade to the kitchen! If you are looking to refresh the look of your kitchen without breaking the bank, an updated backsplash is a great option!
