Liquor Bottle Bird House

I made this Bird House from a Liquor bottle. I drilled a hole in the front with a diamond drill bit. I also drilled a hole for the perch. I added moss and hung it up. I have made some out of wine bottles also.

Wouldn't the birds be too hot in the sun?

Do you see birds using this? Neat idea as decorative, and would be really awesome to be able to view them, like an ant farm. I too am thinking it may get too hot.
