2015 Winter Mantel
A newly found appreciation for our fireplace steered me towards a simpler, minimalistic look for our winter mantel. The rustic beauty of the rocks and timber became the main focal point of the room.
My tastes have changed over the years and I find myself leaning towards a lighter, less complicated look.
I have always loved using humble utilitarian objects to decorate with and that will probably never change.
I just find myself using them with a lighter hand these days The minimalistic look seems to be my style these days - having just enough and nothing more.
