When it has thickened and cooled put them in a glass jar on my kitchen sink. The product remains thick and creamy. Obviously, being free of sulfates, will not make the foam. For those who do not want to give up the foam, you could add flakes of Marseilles soap and cook along the blended sauce. How to use:
A quarter size of this product for dishes by hand. (I don't use this with my dishwasher)
If the dishes are especially greasy, just add a little extra.
If diluted and put it on a sponge, it will gently cleanse surfaces of bathrooms and kitchen.

Would it be as natural if lemon or lime juice was used?

Oils from the lemon help cutting thru grease.

great idea thanks for sharing, I made my own laundry soap so I shall try this also. I guess it would be okay to use the lemons that I squeeze for my morning drink right, I would think there is still plenty of good stuff left in them for this project. Waste not want not.
