DIY Ceiling Fan Makeover, With Modern Masters Paint

A few day's ago I did some wall accents using Modern Masters Metal Effects Paint, so when my husband came home from work, he was blown away with what I had accomplished with this paint. I have been in love with chalk paint for awhile but, now I have a new obsession! Today, while I was at work, my hunk of burning love surprised me by taking down the ceiling fan & doing this effect on it, now it all flows!

I purchased new fans to get rid of the shiny brass. Can you do this without the green tarnish?

Modern Masters has alot of different metal effects. I looked online to find where to buy, or they'll ship direct.

It is from a company named Modern Masters. Go to their website, I bought some and had it shipped. I just haven't tried it yet. Great paint. It has 2 parts, the base coat which has real metal in it, and the second part which makes the metal react and tarnish. It is pretty cool!

I love the finish he did on the metal! It looks beautiful! My only suggestion would be to maybe change out the large flat dome light cover to something a little smaller. Perhaps tulip shaped or a little smaller dome? This one seems (from the picture) to cover a good portion of his lovely work.
