Patio garden


This summer I had a rather large project (for me) to build a patio and garden island . .
This is what it looked like from my pourch steps . . .a whole lot of dirt . .

collecting all the mossy rocks around the yard . . .do you see my kitty napping under the trash can? lol

I used a cement form to do this . .

I then spray painted the stones . . to give it some real color! And yes it has endured the traffic to the door . .

I had a few minor mishaps with the kitties and the dog walking on the wet cement . . so I just went with it . .lol

    where did you get the mold? Finished colored stones look awesome! great job

      Lowe's carries the form in the concrete area for a little over $18.00

    Just lovely. I'm thinking the painted stones will look even better as they wear. I love the foot prints.

    So fun with all the colors and additional small stone art pieces in between some of the larger rock forms.
