Select a piece of reclaimed wood. I'm always on the lookout for those who are replacing their fence. These cedar fence pickets age gracefully and make for the perfect distressed, rustic look.
Next, using my hand dandy DEWALT drill, I predrilled (4) holes according to the size of the knob screws. I then proceeded to install (4) knobs. In this case, I used (2) reclaimed vintage glass knobs and (2) reclaimed wood knobs.
Steering away from the traditional 'Valentine red', I decided to mix up the color and texture using garage sale finds, a rustic twine and 'Tiffany Blue' ribbon. I then attached the corrugated tin 'XOXO's purchased at Hobby Lobby (at 50% off!). Cha-Ching!
...and there it is, 'XOXO's on Valentines Day and Year Around'.
