WELL DONE! I think you did the right thing to restain the trim on the sofa. The dark stain really ties it into the room now. If fact I don't think I have ever seen a sofa made like yours with a light stain on it before. I love the look of wood especially darker wood tones. This is a very beautifully decorated room.
