Is there a can opener that will take the top off the soda can cleanly?
I'm making soda can flowers for yard art. The most tedious part of this is removing the tops of the cans, as well as the mostly dangerous time. This is where you are most likely to get cut unless you are very, very careful. I bought a "side" can opener hoping this would eliminate both problems but it didn't work on soda cans. Does anyone know of a can opener that has the capability to actually open the soda cans cleanly? Sorry but I have no photos. Thanks, Pat
Soda can being extremely thin & flexible can be easily cut with scissors. Just use a knife to make a slit, slide the scissor blade in & cut.
walmart has one for @ $18 great when cleaned for hiding jewelry, Pampered chef has one as well!
Have u tried The Pampered Chef one? It completely cuts off the top of soup cans with no sharp edges to cut yourself on!
Pampered chef has one that I think will work for you and this project.
Pampered Chef sells one and it is great. There would be no way to cut yourself on it after you remove the top. Go online and check it out. Carol Paulus-Kalis
