If this is a guest bedroom the guests need somewhere to put their stuff such as clothing and suitcases. It is easy to fill the area with small items, but they need space to move around the room and not feel too crowded in with stuff that they cannot use and that does not need to be in there. Just my thoughts having stayed many times as a guest in the home of family and friends and in many guest houses.

SO CUTE! While I was looking through your photos, I noticed the Lamp.... My closet only has one little light, and I hate it !! It is so dark. So, I am jumping up from the computer, right now, to run put a lamp in there, before I forget it !!! What a wonderful IDEA !!! Love your style........

I always appreciate a place in a guest room where I can open up my suitcase and leave it open while I am there. Maybe you could switch the rectangular covered table by the sofa with the pram. I'm always leery about moving things off of tables for fear I will break them. A bedside table with just a lamp would allow me to use for personal items that I might need in the night.. If there is no closet space, a hall tree or some wall hooks would be appreciated for coats or clothes that need to hang to keep from wrinkling. The room is darling.

I love this whole room!! (and I NEED that coat...LOL..it is just my style) The Pram is adorable but maybe relocate it to another room??? place a very small bookshelf there with old novels.. Like Gone with the Wind, Little Women, Anne Of Green Gables, etc. etc. A very plain bookshelf could be decorated with some 'gingerbread' type trim painted to match so it looks like it has always been on it. Oh and take the paper jackets off the books...they will look more in time with the room that way

Think you need something for people to hang their clothes, place their suitcase, etc.

Love the convenience of the antique potty. I don't have an upstairs bathroom either. I might have to start searching for one for my guest room. You've thought of everything.
