Easy Scrap Fabric Statement Art
I was bored of the art above my fireplace mantel. I was in the mood to make a statement without paying big bucks!
Here is the art that was up before. I like it more hanging in my studio now.
Creating the fabric art was so easy that my seven year old was convinced she did it all herself. After I picked out my frames (from IKEA), I found three types of fabric leftover from other projects in my house. After I ironed them, I taped them to the top of the frame matting so they wouldn't slip over time.
That's all it took and they were ready to hang!
I love the fresh new feel. Clean and simple, but colorful!
