Can anyone give me advice on how to get an area rug to stay put under a bed? The area rug is on top of carpet and seems to be slipping and sliding under the bed.

I have a carpet to carpet underpad that I purchased. It worked great. I have also heard that making squiggly lines on the back of the rug with silicone (let it dry) works good but have not tried this.

They make carpet tape that is double stick. You can get it at a hardware store or hardware section of a big box store.

You can also make squiggly line on the back of the area rug with a hot glue gun. Or you can also get the double sided sticky tape. If your regular carpet is kind of plush, it is kind of hard to keep it laying down completely flat.
