Need to fill a blank wall? I sure did. Some cute shelves on the wall put together by little old me was in order!
Here is the before. You can see the wall on the right just needs something...anything!
So I bought a sturdy rubbermaid laminate board and some scroll brackets from the wood department at home depot.
Painted the scrolls white to look sort of farmhouse-ish.
Hung everything up and attached everything together then decorated the heck out of them with things sitting around my house.
Now my bare wall is happy and so am I!

Could you Make bigger, beefier shelving for that big wall?

Of course, simply purchase thicker boards, heavy duty bracing and corresponding hardware for your project. Ensure you mount to studs in the walls for optimum weight support. Depending on the weight factor alone, hollow wall anchors may not be enough and may fail.

Oh, and how ironic I ALSO have a "G" to display on the shelf as soon as I make it.
