This is such a great and easy DIY. I am telling you! It has been on my list to try for so long and finally I got my hands on it. I really only spent a few minutes to pretty up this plain $1 vase.
And I had everything on had to make a simple glass vase pretty.
How BLAH is this vase, right?
Spring is right around the corner and I love fresh flowers! Love love love them! These gorgeous roses came home with me this past weekend and they needed a pretty vase.
First I spray painted my glass vase to white. I always have a bottle of white spray paint at home as it is great to fix everything up in seconds.
Then I took out my nail polish and started the easy transformation.
Come and see how I made this happen.

I spray painted a clear glass vase and paint immediately flaked off...do I need to rough up glass surface to make paint stick?

you said you put the vase on a paper towel to dry , didn't it stick to the paper towel the nail polish ?? I really like this and just signed up for the weekly project but was just wondering if I should put it on wax paper instead to dry
