Old Frames and Old Table Make Art Gallery Wall

I am still in the process of giving my daughter's room a makeover. I was at the point of hanging some things on her wall. I wanted something that fit her and was not something you see all the time.
I started thinking about what she loves and being creative is her favorite thing to do. She could draw, paint and write all day long. Why not celebrate that and incorporate it on her walls?
I had many old frames lying around the house. I painted some of them fun colors and others I left as is. On the back of each frame, I tied some twine and added small clothespins to the twine.
This way, she can attach her artwork to the twine with the clothespins.
Now, all her masterpieces can be displayed and it is all one of a kind artwork on her walls! AND, the best part, she can easily change it all around when she wants to.
I needed something on the other side of her room as well. I picked up this old table that was very wobbly and couldn't be used as a table. I LOVED the patina and wood on the top of it though. I removed the legs and hung it on her wall.
My daughter made a butterfly canvas and we hung that on the tabletop. Instant art! You can see more about this project on my blog post.
