Ugly Thrift Shop Breadbox Gets A Facelift

This dated, wooden, thrift shop breadbox had seen its better days! Besides giving it a good cleaning inside and out, see what I did to bring out its shabby farmhouse style.
First I gave it two coats of light gray satin paint to freshen up the inside.
Then I gave the outside two coats of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in "Pure White". I waxed it with clear wax and then distressed it with sandpaper.
I added a wood applique and chicken wire to add shabby farmhouse style. See where I got the applique and how I added the chicken wire on my blog post!
