Here's something terrific you can do with a common household recyclable!
Think you can guess how I made this little white candleholder? Check out the sneaky answer below:
I turned to lid upside down to make the base. I cut the milk bottle just where it starts to flare out, then glued the 2 pieces together. Inserted a dollar store candle and that's all she wrote!
Now just to be safety conscious, remember that a plastic item might melt or ignite, so check your plastic bottle if you try this. (I tested mine and it did not catch, but it's always smart to be vigilant around candles no matter what.) I think this candlestick would look equally cute with a battery-operated tealight, or one of those safe tealights in the little tin cups.
