Spring Planter Gifts

My husbands family has a tradition of giving each other gifts for Easter. For the adults, this usually includes potted plants or bulbs. I decided to to paint terra cotta planters and plant tulips in them.

Such a colorful and easy gift for any spring time event!

I used different pastel colored acrylic paints to paint each pot. Terra cotta is very porous, so you will probably need several coats of paint.

Love these pastel shades!

I found some chalkboard gift tags and used my easy text transfer method (see details on my blog!) to write "Happy Easter" on them! You can easily customize these tags to say whatever you want!

These make perfect Easter or spring gifts or would be perfect for your own garden space!
