DIY Slipcover

I was asked to give this chair a new life.
First I needed to make an under slip to cover the grid pattern fabric that would peek through.
This is the under slip and I stapled it to the bottom.
Make sure to prewash your fabric for shrinking before you cut and sew.
Add a self welt or piping (same thing ) to give a tailored look.
Add piping to separate skirt.
This is the finished slipcover.
The back of slipcover. I will be posting a picture of it in its new space. :)

Linda on Mar 14, 2015I know nothing about how to make slipcovers or upholstery. How do you make your patterns? Wish I had the talent to do this. Love it.
