Darling DIY Gold Monogram Mugs

Sharing a "Guest DIY" from my sweet friend Emily, who was married in May 2014. But before then, she used this adorable DIY project to announce her wedding date in engagement pictures!
I’ll let Emily take it from here with her tutorial for DIY Gold Monogram Mugs:
(Emily) I had just over six months during a very busy season at work during which to plan my wedding from long-distance, so I had to be strategic about how much DIY I wanted to assign myself. However, one of my top priorities was to add personal touches to the wedding that told family and friends about our love story and each other.
My husband and I had our first date at a coffee shop, and I thought coffee mugs would be a cute way to announce our wedding date.
First, I had to hunt down matching white mugs. I searched multiple dollar stores, but none had mugs in quite the right shape or color. Thank goodness for Bed, Bath, & Beyond coupons!
I dug out some letter and number stickers for our stencils and affixed them to the mugs. I even re-purposed some old Valentine stickers I had in my craft stash.
Next, I put my fiancé to work using a gold paint pen (I got mine from Michaels – again, used a coupon!) to make dots along the outline of the stickers.
