Kids Art Project

I had a few ideas how I wanted to take my daughter's paintings and turn them into inspirational word art projects. I couldn't find any stencils for these pieces so I created my own using my hot glue gun and glue sticks. The results are fantastic.
I took parchment paper and I drew stars and, then I took my hot glue gun and traced the stars. I made sure the stars where connected, because I wanted one big star stencil. I placed the stencil over the painting and added my sticker letters to the painting as well. Once everything was layout I used metallic gold spray paint to created this one of kind inspirational word art project.
Here is an close up of my star stencil. Creating this stencil was quite an easy project and the possibilities are endless. Just make sure when tracing the glue is thick and not thin. Also have extra glue sticks in your work area. If you have an area that is not straight just use your scissor to trim away the edges.
For this painting I drew an owl and I laid parchment paper over my drawing. Using my hot glue I followed the lines of the owl. The only piece of this owl that was not connected were the eyes. Just make sure to place them on before painting. If you can't not draw just find a simple line drawing online, you can use a children's coloring book and create letters using Pic Monkey, Photoshop or Word.
