DIY Wrapping Station

Since starting our sign business we have needed a place to wrap all of our signs to get ready for shipping. My hubby built a work bench which is perfect for that but our shipping paper issue was giving us a fit. Small rolls cost to much in the long run but were easy to handle and large rolls fit our price range but were nearly impossible to handle So this is what we came up with.
We needed it next to our workbench so we took a pine board, cut it to size, (ours ended up being 12" x 54 1/2" x 3/4"
We stained & painted it then mounted it directly to the wall (screwing into the studs)
The paper roll weighs about 40 lbs so we had to make sure it would hold up.
We then just used regular metal shelf brackets and mounted them to the board.
We took a large dowel rod & slipped through the center of the paper roll & hung it on
the brackets.
It works like a charm! One person can wrap now with no fighting the paper roll necessary!
