My daughter drew on the toilet with expo, and it left a stain

I tried everything, hands sanitizer, hairspray, bleach, rubbing alcohol, magic eraser, vinegar and baking soda, dawn soap. WHAT DO I DO? We are also selling the house too!

  • @Grace lynn ...have you tried WD40 ? I would suggest that, and also try these : A paste made from baking soda and toothpaste ....I would also try a ' laundry pretreat " product. I use Folex ( its made for carpeting and furniture)but I also use it for laundry if needed. ...take out everything ! lol. Also, believe it or not, ..Lysol makes a product that may work. I have used it to take Magic Marker off of a surface...Lysol Mold and Mildew remover with bleach. Hope this helps.

    Try hydrogen peroxide, straight or make a paste of it with baking soda.

    The toilet is porcelain, therefore porous, let the peroxide sit for at least 15 minutes, if that doesn't work, try goo b gone

    My husband just got a steam cleaner from Amazon that took stains off of toilets etc. that had been there for a long time. Around $50 but he says it is awesome.

    I used acetone and that worked well,and " goo gone" product from hardware store.

    @Grace lynn, Try a product made specifically for removing ghosting on dry erase boards caused by expo markers. You can get this relatively inexpensively at any office supply store. Name brands include Quartet and Sanford (which makes Expo brand markers). Good luck!

    Have you tried hand sanitizer, it works well on EXPO markers.
